Mirror Mirror on the Wall....Do I suffer from Pride?

Has anyone stopped to think about how pride maybe ruining your life? Its amazing how people are blind by the fact they are dealing with a pride issue. For instance, something as simple as someone doing their best to get you a job, but since the job is not paying you $XX,XXX.XX you choose to decline. That's shallow! I need to say that again SHA LLOW! It doesn't matter if the job starting off is not paying you what you think you are worth. In that case no one would have a job bc we all feel we are worth more than what our employers can afford to pay us. But keep in mind you have no income coming in what so ever! Therefore a decent salary is ok to start off with.

Pride is not just those who boast. Pride is also those who think little of themselves. How so? I am happy you ask! Pride is concentrating on self. Therefore if one is always saying things like 'poor me' or 'look at me I am just pitiful' or even being shy is a way of pride, because the concentration is on self, 'what will they think of me if i dont make X amount of Money"=Pride

Look in the mirror and ask yourself 'Do I suffer from Pride?'
