My Piks from Last Night's Red Carpet

For various reasons, these are my piKs from last night's 82 Academy Awards Show.

1. Zoe's multi-purple look. I didn't catch this on the red carpet. I saw her in this while presenting and she looked AH-mazing in Givenchy. But this chick can pull off lots of looks quite effortlessly. She is definitely at the top of my list from last night.

2. Mrs. Thicke rocked that baby bump in a way that makes us all want to work a little harder to be fab whenever those preggers days come (her and Halle of course). The color of her Carolina Herrera gown was perfect for her tone and she was fearless with the tight fit.

3. Anika Noni Rose's dress was glamourous and the jeweled corset not only added shine but commanded attention to The Frog Princess as she worked the red carpet.

4. I will admit I am a huge fan of SVU and Mariska Hartigay's Vera Wang gown made her look stunning. Black is never boring! Correction- this dress is actually navy. Surprise to me, but apparent in other pics. Either way...tres fab!

5. I am such a sucker for something beautiful in navy. NO Mariah, your look didn't do it for me...but this Monique Lhuillier gown that Kristen Stewart donned last night-did!

6. SO I AM NOT A FAN OF MONIQUE's LOOK- at all, however, the reasoning behind her ensemble was worth mentioning. Hattie McDaniel wore a royal blue gown with a gardenia in her hair when she was allowed to attend the Oscars years ago. Great story, but the dress was less than par for the Oscars.
