Riddle me this rhyme....

What does "I don't want to waste your time. I can't take you seriously." mean to you?

I said this in plain english to KFC weeks ago. So at his request I called him last night just before my run so that I wouldn't have to talk long and he asked if we were actually ever gonna go out whatever. I told him that yea we can hang out but that I'd already told him that I wasn't trying to waste his time. He said "does that mean you aren't interested?" Ummmm yeah. Was that not clear when I said it the first time? He said that's all he needed to know...so I said OK BYE and proceeded with getting sexy legs. #Kanyeshrug

So was the first sentence not obvious when I said it weeks ago? I have to go to his gym tonite after a meeting. Think it will be awkward? I changed the address on my Bally's account just in case he's crazy.
