A Fashionista dream, is to attend Fashion Week in NY. Since everyone doesn't have that opportunity, I have a friend who models for Korto Momolu (Google her!), who gave me a brief inside look on how the week went for her.

It started with two days in Piddy studio, then off to the Haiti Relief Fashion Show. Look what Naomi Campbell wore+shoes, 'LOVE IT'! Then there were pics with celebs such as Jay Manuel from ANTM, even Piddy Mother etc. etc. etc.

Off to the Arise Show (#1African Fashion Show), Ciara put on a Fab performance at the after show. Then there was dancing the whole night non stop!

Backstage was the same atmosphere like any other fashion show. Except she had not 1 not 2 but 3 stylise on her head. She applauded the professionalism of the staff.

Some of the models who walked in Momolu Show were from ANTM: Bianca, Camille, and Katrianna (model from Project Runway).

My friend says the whole time she was at Fashion Week Events, she was amazed. She is still tryin to believe she was actually apart of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week 2010!

New Experiences

I'm taking my first "bus trip" to New York. Aside from the mayhem of finding a parking spot in the city less that $20 (no luck there), the annoying chick who is soo mad that she had to pay an extra $5 because she missed her bus that she has to call every contact in her cell phone to tell them about it...and the couple sitting adjacent to me blasting...umm is that Rihanna? like an entire album of RIH? seriously, oh and the smell of boozed up college students (remember those days?)....the ride is off to a good start.
