Stop entertaining unknown numbers.....
was my suggestion to a friend last night. She sent a text to the wrong number and the person was like 'I am what you are looking for (red flag!)' She continues to entertain the convo. (she should have stopped why she had the chance). He describe his self being tall, light skinned, hazel eyes, long braids. She was like ok sounds attractive, lets meet. She met him in a public parking lot just in case she wasn't feeling him. What do you know she wasnt!!! They go into a restaurant and in 2hours she learned and noticed:
1. He had no left teeth
2. But a gold tooth that started the right set of teeth
3. He has been out of prison for a year and a half.
4. He was in prison bc "he used to do bad things" HMMMM YOU THINK!
5. He is on disability
6. However he owns a mobile detailing service
7. He is Muslim
8. 37 years old
9. He says the difference bw Christianity is 'they say turn the other cheek and Muslims say kill a man
10.Raggedy longs braids, not tall, not light skinned, but he did have hazel eyes
She said he just look wrong! He was ridding in a 2010 charger (no rims..LOL) polo down from head to toe(LMAO, atleast it wasnt Coogi), and had a wad of cash(Guess he is making a killing from disability and washing cars) .....I hope we all learn a lesson from this DID GO WRONG BLIND DATE!

  2. To be honest,
I kinda wanna go innnnn on your friend. Responding to an unknown text seems really desperate followed by actually meeting up with the guy? Then she was open to dating someone who took pride in having long braids? How old is the friend? I guess I read it from the other direction, because it was clear that he was losing from his approach, but the fact that she entertains it means she's losing just as much.

  3. Yes E. Jamal that is another perspective. When I told a guy friend this story he actually said the exact same thing you said. As a female I thought it was hilarious! PS: I was so thrilled when you cut your braids off bc they were so past due and now braids have expired!

  4. I can appreciate a risk-taker. And it's encouraging to hear that some women are open to such an encounter. I mean, it's 2010, "blind" ain't what it used to be with Google and worldwide social networking sites. It opens us up to more interesting people, more interesting encounters, and in turn makes our lives more interesting and enriches our total dating experience. Man or Woman. I've been on one blind date in my lifetime and I was surprised at how well we got along. We had lots in common, same interests, same worldview, totally different backgrounds...it was almost Love, but Life got in the way. She hadn't been to jail though, things might hve turned out a bit different in that case...Live and learn, and let live.

  5. I'm sorry but this is funny! It's more funny if she isn't desperate. If she's desperate, then it's not as funny...
