I just want what I can't have

The other day you mentioned that we are never happy.I told you that was the nature of man. We will never be satisfied, get enough, be full, or allow ourselves to be completely happy (if that is actually attainable-since I'm sure there's always something a person can complain about).

I'm at work, listening to Drake. Listening to Cece's Interlude and he sing-songs "i just want what I can't have." iGiggle...because that's so me (sometimes). 06 has said it several times before. I never disagree. Things that come too easy rarely hold my interest (by things I mean people). Its cool in the beginning, but it doesn't mesh well with my personality, I like space and it rarely accompanies an easy capture. So the converse of this can be seen as wanting what I can't have. Now, by "what I can't have", I don't mean unattainable things....I simply mean those that aren't sitting in my lap awaiting attention...call it the thrill of the chase if you wish...

Monday Randomness

1. It's not a good idea to replace your exercise regimen with food and liquor (unless its Lupe)...in my case it was not. I don't think I've drank so much beer in.my.life.

2. Be careful what you ask for- you just might get it. And when you do...don't be looking crazy.

3. The second greatest thing about Resurrection Sunday (Easter)....is the debut of men's spring suits. The tan and pink ensemble of the music department yesterday was great and surprisingly NONE of them appeared to be from the Steve Harvey collection. We all know I'm a sucker for a man in a great suit...

4. Having no expectations is probably not 100% realistic for women. Seriously. So I'll amend that to have little to no expectations.

5. I would not make a good hunter. iFail at Big Buck Shooting Games...

6. "Why did I get married too?" could have ended with "Why did I get Married?"

7. Adventuring a city on foot is really fun...BUT wearing appropriate shoes probably makes for a better story.

8. Not all white suits were NOT created equal...

9. Chivalry is not dead (and does not go unnoticed)...you just need to be a better chooser...

10. The turkey situation at Panera is just what I've been missing since Feb. 28th

My life's randomness

My life is so full of randomness. So in no particular order....

1. What's with all these grown men saying "I don't like sleeping alone". Get a teddy bear...I bet it will bring less drama...(targeted comment)
2. The KING(ston) is back. "Sean" waltzes back into life with a random conversation like we just talked yesterday. Yes, I find that a little strange.

3. KFC made really purposeful efforts to not speak to me yesterday at the gym. This was coupled with going above and beyond to speak to the girl on the treadmill next to me and then pretending to be so engrossed in his work once he looked up and saw that the loud laughter (about him) was coming from me as I left the gym. Seriously....what at Bally's requires you to have your face that close to the paper? Hilarious..and immature.

4. ILYT wants to know why Homer Simpson keeps calling. Geez, can we not attempt to be friends? He's cool just not my type.

5. There was a note on my car yesterday from someone claiming to have hit my passenger door with their car door. The note explained that they would be more than happy to compensate for any damage. It was signed by a gentleman and they left their number. Now I did notice a spot on my car where it looked like someone had rubbed (car is a little dusty from the dried rain) but I didn't see any damage. I contemplated calling the number to tell the person not to worry about it but thought better of that idea...then ILYT reminded me about calling/answering unknown numbers.

6. How did I manage to sit next to the person last night who never heard the scripture that we were directed to. And get all out of my personal notes from the sermon...thanks!

That's is as of now...but I have to walk the streets of B-more for a moment so who know's what'll happen next.
